In mid-March 2022 it transpired that Yuga Labs, the company responsible for founding the current top-ranked NFT collectable Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), had become owners of the 2nd and 3rd most successful NFT collectables, MeeBits and CryptoPunks, acquired from their main business rival Larva Labs. This piece was borne of the news of that accretion. Inspired by the famed Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huan and also the concurrent war against Ukraine, I imagined them forming a huge battalion and marching on Russia defeating Putin.
