# DROWNING SQUIRREL
The squirrel fell into the river
Jumped from the branch of a tree
Water was cold, she started to shiver
Amid quiet forest, no hopes of getting free
She remembers the comfort of the squeaky branches
And the joy of stealing nuts off some tranches
And slowly mixes her tears with the freezing water
An eagle spots her, spills some laughter
Starts circling the scared prey
Squirrel tries splatting in hopes it sways
The eagle was eager to have something for dinner
It was kind of wet, that drowning squirrel
