Valår are primarily found in the cold waters of mountain lakes and streams in Central Schmryptopia, where they use their pyrokinetic powers to hunt small prey. Though they prefer the cold, they are highly resistant to temperature extremes and are known to spawn in the warm shallow waters around the Aqua Isles. Their subsequent journey upstream to their mountain habitat is quite the spectacle.
