GONE WITH THE WIND

This work is based on an original painting which was then animated to bring it to life. Part of my arts practise is also to make large scale sculptural works based on structures from my paintings, and the wind turbine in this work is a piece I would like to create in the future. This artwork is utopian in theme, imagining a perfect world which relies on clean energy, in which the aesthetically pleasing and the practical are married into one. One where sculptures such as the wind turbine can generate power while also having mediative, calming qualities. Doubling up as art accessible for everyone.
