Jesse Cathode is a time traveler living around the turn of the 90's, and he pays to stay in that era by sending black market neon designs back through the time portal. These are throwbacks to that era, but designed with glitch aesthetics that betray Jesse not being of that time. The shapes and strokes are meant to be free-flowing like many of my designs, but their texture illuminates the background and blends into it self in such a way that they should feel like they radiate energy.
This whole series is a reference to a short story by Bruce Sterling called "Mozart in Mirrorshades" where transactions happen between people living in different time periods. Jesse Cathode is the muse for this ...
