There is much conjecture on what may have gone on in Marilyn Monroe’s head given her tumultuous life from beginning to end. A childhood wracked with trauma of a mentally ill mother who was in and out of institutions; the insecurity of being shuttled from one caretaker and home to another, which then catapulted her into an immature, ill-fated marriage.
