I spent a considerable amount of time meditating on Andy Warhol's first foray into digital art. He used strange fills and thresholds and vibrant colors - and so I coded a Processing sketch to generate patterns the mimic the early computer painting fills. These patterns stream at 60fps, and then they are saved and composed alongside threshold textures into abstract works, cyborg_warhol_factory prints. cyborg_warhol lived on into the 2000's, and gave up on traditional formats. This is also the first series I developed with animation in mind after seeing how hypnotic the patterns are compared to static renders.
