I'm dying to shoot places no ones ever photographed before. To push myself further for my work than anyone else will. That’s what brought me to rural China.
China is, hands down, the most difficult place I’ve ever traveled to. The language barrier is intense, the written language impossible to decipher.
Reaching the castle took over 48 hours of travel. So when the last taxi arrived, I could hardly believe I had made it. The scene was so surreal it felt like a dream.
