Deceived

She knew that to live to the full she had to embrace the present time with all her might. She had understood long ago that her expectations were the source of her deceptions, yet, it didn't stop her from foreseeing what she called her dreams. Little did she know that she'd be betrayed. After a sad night that felt like it would never become tomorrow, she realized that her pain was as intense as the joy she once felt. The many tears that rolled on her face that night washed her soul.
