There once was a Lucky Lady so fair, Whose heart was coveted by a Leprechaun rare, He knew her temptation was gold so bright, And he offered her coins every night. But the Lucky Lady was no fool, She knew his tricks and his rule, She kept her coins close and her heart closer, For her love was not for sale or exposure. Though the Leprechaun persisted with glee, The Lucky Lady stood strong, bold and free, She knew her worth was not in gold, But in the love she gave and the stories she told.
