James T. Langurk always wanted to go far in life. His goal had always been to go where no primate had gone before – to the stars and beyond. Only the best was good enough for that. He was the youngest starship captain of Starbeet, a uniformed space force maintained by the United Federation of Primates. He was now in charge of a high-end starship, the USS Talaprise, commanding a top-notch crew of primates from diverse backgrounds.
