Facundo Paraloucardi Masso sat at his desk and had writer's block. It shouldn't be that complicated as he was planning to write his autobiography - a text about himself with the experiences of himself - but the words didn't come to him. Facundo put down the fountain pen, leaned back and drifted back in thoughts about his life. It has been a really good life.
Born in Spain, he came to Cuba, following his older brother and working in a fruit store in Santiago. Over time, he had accumulated enough capital to open his own store for banana leaf products. But an earthquake followed by a cholera epidemic devastated the city and Facundo and his brother decided to relocate to Spain for a few months....
