Dyschronometria is the inability to track the passage of time within the human mind. Created with the light of the stars and the sun combined with time-lapse photography, this celestial light painting displaces time through hypnotic circular motion thereby harnessing it as a medium. Every component of the work reflects this from the 24-second length, a reference to a day on Earth, to the slowed-down audio art soundtrack. Even the stars serve as an embryonic origin point on an infinite loop before giving way to the vastness of space. It’s easy to lose track of time.
