Artist: Maurits Kool Editions piece: Dutch Candy All summer long I drove past this windmill, looking at it and wanting to create some kind of piece. But the thing is, this windmill is standing in the middle of a suburb, not a particularly beautiful view around this windmill. One day at the end of summer I drove past it again just as the sun was setting opposite to the windmill, creating a beautiful purple and pink pastel backdrop. THIS was what I wanted to capture!
