A reference to the Death Cab song, but also a nod to a theme I often had in mind during this time -- that math art is sort of a discovery of some shape that was always out there, floating in a platonic mathematical space, waiting to be found. It's not something I drew or synthesized -- it's something I found. Fact, not fiction. For me, finding mathematical structures like this is a humbling and awesome encounter with some infinite, ineffable truth.
