The Castilleja Palustris is a common, small plant and can be found in most forests. It blooms once a year, for 6 months. It has tiny, oval leaves, which are usually pine green. It also grows decent sized flowers, which can be bronze, gold, light silver and white. These plants grow in large groups, but it's complicated to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as an energizer when drunk as tea. As a defense mechanism the Castilleja Palustris relies mostly on its surroundings to survive. They rely on self pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow small, inedible nuts.
