The Chionanthus Kobus is a common, modest plant and can be found anywhere near rivers and lakes. It blooms twice a year, for 2 months. It has thick, triangular leaves, which are usually dark green. It also grows large flowers, which can be light pink, dark grey, silver, light red and light bronze. These plants grow in tiny groups, but it's fairly easy to control and maintain their growth. They can be cooked and eaten. As a defense mechanism the Chionanthus Kobus can collapse its flowers when it detects vibrations. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, inedible fruits.
