The Centranthus Rigida is a common, small plant and can be found anywhere near lakes. It blooms twice a year, for 2 weeks. It has huge, fan shaped leaves, which are usually pine green. It also grows huge flowers, which can be dark purple, light goldblack. These plants grow in huge numbers, but it's hard, especially without experience, to control and maintain their growth. They can be used to help relief pain. As a defense mechanism the Centranthus Rigida grows large thorns. They rely on winds to carry their seeds away to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, delicious fruits.
