The Cuphea Mariana is a very common, large plant and can be found mostly on tropical islands. It blooms in early summer. It has thick, toothed leaves, which are usually dark orange. It also grows small flowers, which can be black, dark purple, dark grey and dark bronze. These plants grow within short distances from each other, but it's very easy to control and maintain their growth. They have no real use. As a defense mechanism the Cuphea Mariana taste extremely sour. They rely on winds to carry their seeds away to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, inedible fruits.
