The Eucomis Palustris is a common, tiny plant and can be found mostly in savannas. It blooms in early spring. It has tiny, spear shaped leaves, which are usually light red. It also grows decent sized flowers, which can be light bronze, light gold, black and dark yellow. These plants grow separated by a fair distance from each other, but it's challenging to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as a cooking ingredient, similar to herbs. As a defense mechanism the Eucomis Palustris grows stinging hairs, like a nettle. They rely on cloning themselves by growing a new specimen to reproduce.
