The Cuphea Makinoi is a very scarce, tall plant and can be found in any cold region. It blooms in late summer. It has huge, heart shaped leaves, which are usually light green. It also grows quite small flowers, which can be brown, gold, purple and dark gold. These plants grow in small numbers, but it's really tricky to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as a cooking ingredient, similar to herbs. As a defense mechanism the Cuphea Makinoi mimics the overall look of a different, poisonous plant. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, delicious nuts.
