The Diervilla Arundinaera is a scarce, huge plant and can be found only near sea dunes. It blooms once a year, for 4 months. It has small, needle leaves, which are usually green and white. It also grows quite small flowers, which can be dark red, white and light purple. These plants grow in huge groups, but it's no trouble to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as a cooking ingredient, similar to herbs. As a defense mechanism the Diervilla Arundinaera can collapse its flowers when it detects vibrations. They rely on self pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow small, inedible fruits.
