The Clivia Setaceum is a very scarce, medium-sized plant and can be found in most subarctic regions. It blooms once a year, for 1 month. It has small, fan shaped leaves, which are usually light yellow. It also grows small flowers, which can be dark brown, light orange, orange and dark blue. These plants grow separated by a fair distance from each other, but it's no trouble to control and maintain their growth. They can be dried and used in cooking. As a defense mechanism the Clivia Setaceum grows large thorns. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, inedible nuts.
