It also grows small flowers, which can be dark purple, light silverblack. These plants grow alone, but within a decent distance from each other, but it's challenging to control and maintain their growth. They can be dried and used in cooking. As a defense mechanism the Eleagnus Spicata taste very bitter. They rely on self pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow delicious, small fruits.
