The Cosmos Jalapa is a very common, small plant and can be found in most snowy regions. It blooms once a year, for 3 months. It has small, sickle shaped leaves, which are usually bright green. It also grows small flowers, which can be purple, dark orange, brown and grey. These plants grow in huge numbers, but it's complicated to control and maintain their growth. They can be dried and used in cooking. As a defense mechanism the Cosmos Jalapa grows small thorns. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow delicious, small fruits.
