Warmer Without You

"I wonder if didn’t met a certain individual in my life, would my world been warmer?" This painting depicts my sense of longing and grief from a connection I know I should have left a long time ago; yet I still can’t seem to move on either. I always wondered who would I have become if I never met them? Never gave them thousands of chances, never let them get close to me, never let them love me… Maybe the girl who I could’ve become would be smiling as she wakes up everyday, seeing how bright the world around her is; unfortunately, that’s not the case and now I can only wonder: would my world would’ve been warmer without you?
