Out of all the nightmares I had as a kid or as an adult, those that rattles me awake from my deep sleep the hardest were about war, they were vividly realistic and unsettling, but the worst of it all, they get stuck In your head even after you wake up because of their potential to become a reality anytime. The setting of DEFCON 1 takes place in a fictional city a few hours before the total annihilation that mankind brought upon itself in a perpetual and meaningless war, a moment of clarity that was absent before prompts a man to leave what could inevitably be his last message, with no one left to hear it. *NOTE: One edition has been reserved by the artist*
