Ecosphere I

Ecosphere I & II are hyperreal, utopion and dystopian renders of an imagined future. Pugen explores relationships between the real, the natural and the artificial. His practice often highlights the tensions of virtual identity through altering and manipulating images. Working with video, film, performance and photography, Pugen renders situations that examine our perceptions of how history, documentation, and simulation intersect.
