The majesty of live music is something that has always captured my heart, as it does for so many of us. Real-time creation had been taken from us during the pandemic, but many took the opportunity at home to pick up instruments for the first time. In 2020, I began a series of rituals, exploring the overlooked moments in our everyday lives. During a shoot in Brooklyn, I had the privilege of working with two young lovers who I had known for many years. They shared with me a piece they had created during their time at home together.
