The molten lava of the Kīlauea volcano glows strikingly under a thick blanket of clouds. As the rain begins to relent the stars begin to poke through the watery drapery. The fallen rain turns to steam, seemingly igniting in a blaze of red itself, while being ushered away by the prevailing winds. A place of fire and destruction but also of birth and new beginnings.
