When this painting was originally created with oils, it was interpreted by the public in ways that the artist, Seth Armstrong, had never imagined. Most of those interpretations concerned drugs. When the original was exhibited in 2021, there was a widespread rumor that it was about getting high off lemon peels. The idea was that you could scrape the fibers off of a lemon peel and cook them over a low fire to release hallucinogenic qualities. This, of course, is not true. To find the true meaning of this artwork, grab yourself a magnifying glass and watch the folks within it.
