sunday raspberries eyes
at noon you appeared and burst into glittery fires
and i hadn’t known immortal beauty until then
so what would i’d have said if i could speak?
you descended back like a parade on my world
and i want to know what will happen a century later,
when i no longer have words but someone else does
and our threads reach into kingdoms that call us back
to the now, and the now, and the now,
and our specters rise like bombs over the lands
until light and darkness themselves
unwind in the voids we dodged
