Annabelle was born to a poor family in a small village in the middle of nowhere. When she was five, her parents were killed by a band of marauders who burned down her home. Annabelle was the only one who survived. She was taken in by the local priest, who taught her how to read and write and do basic arithmetic. When she was ten, the priest died of a fever and Annabelle was once again alone in the world. With no other options, Annabelle decided to try her hand at being an adventurer.
