Battle of Kinarot Valley [ 3 / 4 ]

On the 15 of May 1948, momentous changes took place in the British Mandate of Palestine. This was the last day of the Mandate, the British flag was lowered and the British armies embarked back to London, leaving the Jewish and Arab inhabitants to their own devices. On the same day, the Jewish leadership declared the establishment of the State of ISrael, in a proclamation given by the first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion. And also on the same day, the armies of the five Arab countries invaded the newborn state, in an attempt to prevent this from happening....
