The Escape

It is a constant desire to escape, to pursue happiness. To escape from a boring work, a dull routine, from something that has no passion and purpose. The desire to break the circle, to find oneself. The feeling of losing one’s individuality, one’s freedom weighs on the chest. The sky seems to be plunging into darkness. A compulsion that comes before going to bed: to get to the train station and buy a ticket for the next train. To watch the city lights disappear in the distance as the train picks up speed.
