"AiLBUMS" by Alexander Reben, is the second of GEN.ART's AI Drops. It's a series of generative works created in “collaboration” with AI. Alex went through hundreds of thousands of album cover images and selected 50,000 images to be included in the dataset. That data set was then used to train an AI algorithm that attempted to learn what album cover images are. He then uses a system that reads his brainwaves, gaze, and body signals to choose an output from the system.



AiLBUMS by GEN.ART

AiLBUMS: Gold Record is created first by training an RNN AI on album names, which allows the system to generate new album names. Those generated names are fed into a text-to-image AI system where text is interpreted into an image. The outputs are hand-curated by the artist as unique 1/1 artworks.
