Named for the blend mode that inspired its creation, 'Multiply' makes liberal use of this digital composition method in its construction. This piece consists of several hand-painted layers that overlap and mask each other in various ways. Each new 3x3 grid of colour reacts with those that came before it, before being wrapped in additional tone, border, and texture. The finished, fully-blended artwork has almost 50 billion unique possible combinations. All artwork is 3840x3840 pixel resolution, and 5250 × 5250 'originals' are available to edition owners on request.
