Copper

The metal known as Copper, or "Venus", is a valuable tool in our alchemic journey. It has the ability to speed up the transformations that may otherwise be too slow. During the Nigredo stage, Copper can symbolize the purification and breakdown of one's self. In the Albedo stage, it can symbolize illumination. And finally, in the Rubedo stage, Copper represents the union of opposites.
