Robness, an American artist, sold one of his trash can NFTs for $252K in February of 2022 and 5 months later, a company named Toter LLC, part of Wastequip Corp issues DMCA takedown notices for NFTs with the word “Toter” in the title. The trash art movement is being crushed by an out of touch company that manufacturers industrial grade trash bins…………you can't make this shit up. Imagine embracing the trash art genre, and having all that free marketing and publicity for your brand…….but no.
