angel

i have visited thirty of colorado's fifty eight mountains above fourteen thousand feet (altitude). i started with a clear goal to snowboard from the summit of each. over the years i decided that my dream isn't that ridged and joked with friends that my goal is to just snowboard ON all of the 14ers. an idea birthed from satire yielded a breakaway from aggressive personality types that populate high-alpine sports. i have kept the joke alive for a decade now and 'angel' represents lore that can built into anyone's adventure. when someone looks up the origin of the, "angel of shavano", a prominent snow field, conflicting results appear. its a common occurrence in nature, one where i find mysel...View all
