My art piece is an ode to the iconic graffiti artist Banksy. By using his imagery in an art piece featuring a hippie microbus van, I am exploring a narrative of freedom and rebellion. The microbus van has historically been associated with counterculture and the notion of escaping from the daily grind of life. Banksy's artwork often serves as a commentary on the human condition, and I believe the combination of these two symbols will create an interesting juxtaposition between the free-wheeling spirit of the van and Banksy's art, which is often rooted in the realities of the world.
