First Night With Billy

The first night with my pet was filled with wonder and delight As I held them close, everything felt just right Their soft purrs and gentle nuzzles, a comfort to my soul In their presence, I felt whole We cuddled and played, until the moon was high With my furry companion by my side, all felt right in the world, no need to sigh I knew that we would be friends for life This first night, was just the start of a beautiful life With each passing day, my love for them only grew Their unconditional love, pure and true I am grateful for that first night, and every night after With my pet by my side, happiness and love will always be a factor.
