I was born in Nagasaki. I remember at an early age a photograph of a person and the shadow of a ladder caused by the heat rays of the atomic bomb. The person is no longer with us, but his existence is certainly imprinted. Can letters still prove their existence even after their design has been eroded and they have lost their form? In this work, the font is the "skeleton of a letter," which is a three-dimensional version of a Gothic letter, leaving only the INFILL, a structure automatically generated by software when the letter is printed out on a 3D printer.
