There are many dying cultural traditions around the world and stilt fishing is one of them. Being an island, Sri Lanka has a deep connection with the ocean. We had gotten behind schedule to reach this location in time before sunset and on arrival both myself and the film crew had very little time to plan our shots. I took a huge risk knowing I had literally a few minutes to get something before the light would deteriorate rapidly.
