Shelf Isolation

Being out in the surf alone is one of my favourite things to do. Capturing this lone surfer taking in the sunrise as a shelf cloud rolled through, I could feel the longing to be out there growing and overtaking my soul. Usually I would finish up getting my compositions and capturing the best of the light, then pack up the gear and paddle out for some waves. But this was a special day.
