We stayed on Gili Air (a good bit more relaxed than Gili T) and explored the scene. Many travelers, expats, divers. The locals are extremely beautiful, humble people, many living in makeshift homes and treehouses. There are no cars on these islands. Only bikes and horses. A week spent entirely barefoot.
