Girl With A Pearl Past

In my region, we used to be famous for pearl diving, with divers risking their lives to find the biggest, brightest, most luminous pearls at the bottom of our sea. The current harsh political climate, unfortunately, with its fundamentalist religious impact, means that our societies are losing that glory, that essence of integrity, that transparency and purity.
