Blackness takes. Spreads by thine blade through veins seized with fear. Is this the end? It is near. Flurry of wings. Hermes, come, hear my call. Take me to Hades. Do not overlook me, I am here. “Felled by Blade” is hand inked and hand painted with India ink on 10” x 10” Bristol Vellum. It depicts a moment in time from the Trojan War – the war that we find ourselves in, in the Secrets Comic Issue 1. Nine years long, the men are tired and yearn for one of two things: death and glory, or home, where they will find peace again.
