This was one of those songs that took me back to a moment in time when I wrote it... Early 2010 Hollywood, California Los Angeles Recording School I was 17 years old when I graduated high school. I almost immediately moved from Orange County to LA. I couldn't get out of my mom's house quick enough. I just wanted to feel like an adult. To be in my own apartment. To be in college. To just live. I thought going to recording school was the answer to all my prayers. I would learn everything I needed to know about recording + engineering. I would graduate and start making music.
