Capturing a moment before the flood. I wanted to capture the beauty of Pakistan in this piece, but it’s more than pretty views. It’s humility, it’s practicing kindness, and it’s the appreciation of moments no matter how big or small. A man, perhaps a father, standing in water that threatens to take over his home. Before he gets to safety, he takes a moment to interact with a bird. A fleeting moment, but a moment of hope nonetheless.
